What is the CA exam in India?

The Chartered Accountancy (CA) examination is conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It has three levels — Foundation, Intermediate, and Final — plus Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) at the Final stage. Candidates must clear all three levels and complete articleship training to become a Chartered Accountant. The exam tests accounting, taxation, auditing, corporate law, financial management, and strategic management. CA Foundation is the entry point after class 12; CA Intermediate follows; CA Final is the qualifying stage. Each level has 4-6 papers of 100 marks each, mostly held in May and November (Foundation also in January).

How are CAVerse mock tests different from ICAI question papers?

Both have value but serve different purposes. ICAI past papers (PYQs), MTPs, and RTPs are real exam material — use them for time-bound rehearsal. CAVerse adds AI grading on top: every answer gets a two-pass evaluation (fast first read, deep review on low confidence), step-marked feedback, identified missed concepts, and a memory aid. Predicted ICAI score is computed against your historical attempts with a confidence band. You also get a question bank of 5,047+ MCQs split into Direct and Case-Study, hint system with mark penalties, and fullscreen + face-proctored testing that mimics the real ICAI portal. CAVerse complements your coaching class and ICAI Study Material — it does not replace them.

Is CAVerse affiliated with ICAI?

No. CAVerse is an independent educational platform owned by TwoCoreX (OPC) Pvt Ltd. We surface ICAI's publicly available past papers, MTPs, and RTPs as study resources, but we are not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. ICAI is the sole authority for the CA examination, registration, syllabus, and certification.

How much does CAVerse cost?

Student-first pricing. Free plan: 2 mocks per month, no AI features. Day Pass ₹9 unlocks everything for 24 hours — perfect for the night before a mock. Monthly ₹99 unlocks everything for 30 days. Power Pack ₹299 gives 5× the caps on tutor, doubts, and re-evaluations. Annual ₹999 is the best value — full year of access at ~₹2.74/day. Payment is via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). Can I take CA mock tests online for free?

Yes. CAVerse gives every signed-in user 2 free mock tests per month with instant MCQ scoring. You also get free access to the entire concept atlas, chapter-wise notes with flowcharts, and ICAI past-paper PDFs. Paid features (AI tutor chat, photo doubt-solving, deep re-evaluation, topic mastery analytics, AIR percentile against the CAVerse cohort) start at ₹9 for a Day Pass.

What is the AI tutor on CAVerse?

An interactive chat that answers any CA-syllabus question with ICAI terminology, exact section citations, and step-by-step reasoning. It is strictly scoped to CA topics — off-topic questions are politely refused. You can attach a photo of a textbook problem or your handwritten attempt and the tutor will read the image, identify the topic, and walk you through the solution. Image processing uses computer vision; replies are concise and exam-relevant. AI tutor + photo doubt are paid features (Day Pass ₹9 / Monthly ₹99 / Power Pack ₹299 / Annual ₹999).

How does CAVerse predict my ICAI score?

We use a weighted moving average of your scored attempts, with recent attempts weighted more heavily. The confidence band is half a standard deviation, floored at 3 marks for small samples — so the prediction widens when we have little data and tightens as you take more mocks. Topic-mastery analytics aggregate your accuracy per chapter, surfacing weak areas you can drill. The AIR percentile compares your best score percentage against other CAVerse users with active accounts (minimum cohort of 10 for the rank to be considered real). Predictions are informational, not guarantees — ICAI marking can vary.

Are my mock attempts and personal data secure?

Yes. Session cookies are httpOnly + SameSite=Lax + secure in production. We use Google OAuth so we never see or store your password. Payments go through Razorpay; we never receive card numbers, CVV, or UPI PIN. We are DPDP Act 2023 compliant — see our Privacy Policy for the full processor list (Razorpay, Anthropic for AI, Google for sign-in, Render for hosting). You can request data export or deletion any time at hello@caverse.in.

What is the CA SPOM exam?

Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) is an ICAI requirement at the CA Final level under the New Scheme. There are four sets: SET A (Corporate & Economic Laws), SET B (Strategic Cost & Performance Management), SET C (Electives, choose 1 of 6), and SET D (Skill Papers, choose 1 of 4). SPOM is conducted online and separately from the regular CA Final exam cycle. Each candidate must clear all four sets before being declared eligible for the CA Final qualification. CAVerse provides chapter-wise notes, MCQ practice, and AI-graded mock tests for all four SPOM sets.

When are CA exams held in 2026?

ICAI publishes the exam schedule on icai.org. Typically: CA Foundation — January, May, and September. CA Intermediate — May and November. CA Final — May and November. SPOM — conducted on a rolling basis online. Registration windows open roughly 4 months before each exam date. Refer to the ICAI Board of Studies notifications for the exact schedule of your attempt. CAVerse keeps past papers and MTP/RTP for recent attempts available year-round so you can rehearse against the exact paper pattern.

Can I cancel my CAVerse plan?

All current plans are one-time, non-recurring — there is no auto-renewal. Your access ends on the expiry date shown on your dashboard; you don't need to cancel anything. If you want a refund within 24 hours of purchase and have not taken any mock test under the new plan, email hello@caverse.in with the subject 'Refund request — your plan' and include the Razorpay payment ID from your receipt.
